What is the difference between a 2011 Ford Mustang V6 and a V6 Premium?
The 2011 Ford Mustang comes in two V6 models, the V6 and the V6 premium. The V6 starts at 22k and the V6 premium starts at 26k. I was wondering where that extra 4000 dollars goes? I don't see many differences, except the gauge cluster with illumination

For one thing, the Explorer name had been seriously damaged because of the very public Firestone tire rollover controversy of the early 2000s, something that ostensibly made the 2011 model a prime candidate for a new name. Finally, Ford already had a very competent three-row CUV in its arsenal – the Flex. In addition, early rumors had the Blue Oval transitioning the vehicle to a unibody chassis and away from the very body-on-frame architecture that helped establish it as the archetypal sport utility vehicle for two decades. And yet… here we are, with a spanking-new and very different sort of Explorer for 2011. It simply wasn’t clear that a crossover-based vehicle would still be able to make an authentic claim to the same core values that helped the previous four iterations of Explorer sell millions of copies.

Ford calls the control tech “touch capacitive” and there are no buttons to push or levers to slide. Whereas the 2010 model could boast an interior that was perfectly capable of keeping its head level with the crossover waters, the 2011 version is now the same kind of beautiful found in the 2011 Mustang. In Sport trim, those controls were designed by the minds at Sony – the same crew that penned the slick buttons on consumer electronics like the PlayStation3 and any number of massive televisions. That effect is bolstered by the smoked tail lamp lenses and the wheel’s matching wheels tuxedo-black accents. While lower-rung trims don’t carry the fancy Sony switchgear, they do benefit from the same touch capacitive tech. The bland, blocky center stack that dominated the old dash has been banished for a new, sweeping design that features a pass-through nestled behind thin audio and climate controls. Of course, we prefer the backlit goodness of the Sport’s interior, but the center stack on the SEL is just as handsome....
