Has the dealership modified the fuel management computer?

I took my Suzuki Grand Vitara into the dealership the other day for a service. Prior to the service, fuel consumption was 550 kms per tank averaged over 3 years of use (since I bought the vehicle new). After the service fuel consumption was about 470

it is not that easy to do that is programmed onto a prom chip installed at the factory you would have to replace the ecm to do it
if it has black soot around the exhaust it is too much gas
it should give an oxygen sensor code
