College pitching recruiting - process?
Does anyone have experience in this area? My son is being recruited by some schools - D1 to D3. However he gets calls and sometimes it takes a while to hear back if at all. However he has good grades, good SAT scores and certainly college material.
You will know the 1's that are serious. They will probably offer to pay for your son to take a trip out to visit their campus and see the baseball facilities. I believe you're still allowed 5 "official visits".

– Kansas State head baseball coach Brad Hill announced today a restructuring of his coaching staff with the hiring of two new assistant coaches and the transitioning of long-time assistant coach Sean McCann. McCann, who has served as the Cats’ pitching coach and recruiting coordinator since Hill was named head coach prior to the 2004 season, has resigned from his full-time position due to health reasons. Former Kansas hitting coach John Szefc (pronounced CHEF) has been named Associate Head Coach and will serve as the team’s hitting coach.
