I got a remote start system for my car (with auto lock). Can I disable the auto lock feature temporarily?
I had a Valet Remote start system with auto (remote) lock/unlock (model 561r) installed in my mom's 2004 Honda CR-V. It is supposed to be a surprise for Christmas, so I don't want her to notice anything "strange" before I give her the remote
I would ask the shop that installed the alarm. My guess is that it is not able to be turned off. If you mom notices just insist that the car always did that... You only have to bluff her for 1 week.
