There is no mention of if the bill was split into two payments ie. two different credit cards, or gift card with credit card. I have worked in the restaurant business for the past 8-9 years within the capital district and I can’t count the number of people who can’t even afford the original bill, leave pennies as tips, or my favorite… leave the verbal tip “thank you so... It is too often that working in customer service that THE CUSTOMER is down right nasty, especially within a chain restaurant. It is too convenient that the customer was unable to locate the copy of their credit card slip. Furthermore, it is still not proven that the waitress altered the credit card slip. The manager of the macaroni grill is an excellent manager and their team is as close to a family as you can get.
